You can take venue hire only and build your own day, or go for one of their packages. Nice to have the choice.
Three barns
The venue has three barns, each named after an Italian city: the Verona, the Venice and the Florence. There's a courtyard and several outdoor areas as well, so the day can move around. The venue's own example is anything from an intimate courtyard celebration to a five-course feast in the Florence Barn.
No interruptions and no shared spaces. It's yours for the whole day, which is how they put it. It's not far from Northampton itself, so guests who aren't staying on site will have plenty of hotels within easy reach. The venue lists nearby accommodation on its website, which is a good list to share with your guests early. With venue hire only, you'll be choosing more of your own suppliers, so start early on the catering and bar plan.
The house and accommodation
Brampton House is a restored 18th-century building in that honey-toned Northamptonshire stone. There's accommodation on site for the couple and up to 20 guests, plus some cottages. And a large pool and a hot tub, with a late checkout, so the morning after is a gentle one.
Book the house for the morning, too. Getting ready together with the hot tub waiting for the next day is quite a nice reward.
Entertainment ideas
With barns and a courtyard, guests drift between spaces, so you want entertainment that can follow them. A close-up act such as Lewis Joss suits that well. For an evening in the Florence Barn, a photo booth is always popular. And if the kids are coming, a children's entertainer can keep them busy in one of the other barns.
